One credit covers one answer. A question that touches many claims or reads unusually long may cost an extra credit — but the cost is always shown before you accept, and an honest “not researched yet” is never charged.

How do VAT and invoices work?+
Polar sells the credits to you as merchant of record, so Polar — not us — handles VAT collection and remittance for your country. A receipt is emailed to you at checkout, and a copy is available from your account page.
Can I get a refund?+
Yes. Unused packs can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase. If a specific answer was wrong or badly scoped, ask and we'll refund the credit it cost — no back-and-forth required. Full terms are on the credits & refunds page.
Do credits expire?+
No. Credits stay on your account for as long as the service runs.
Do you offer team or API access?+
Not self-serve yet. If you need seats for a team or programmatic access to the corpus, write to hello@sedesmaximus.com.
What payment methods are accepted?+
Cards, and Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal where Polar supports them for your region.
